Pastor Scott Gabrielson is a retired Southern Baptist pastor and Christian businessman, and is available for pulpit-supply and interim positions for Baptist and conservative churches within 2 hours of Clarksville VA 23927.  Pastor Scott received his education at Bluefield (Baptist) College, Averett (Virginia Baptist) University, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Coastal Carolina University.

Biblical Sermons

Pastor Scott has many years of experience in sharing the blessings of God's Word.  He is conservative and evangelical and will bring a message of faith and hope to the church. He believes in the inerrancy of God's Word and that faith in Christ alone saves! 

Controversial topics are avoided during pulpit-supply opportunities.

Interim Pastoral Services

 

Pastor Scott has worked with churches across Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina and is available to provide assistance when you are between pastors.  In addition to ministry degrees he has a Master's Degree in US history and is the author of Finest Man We Ever Knew and 

 The Intrepid Patriot books.

Church Consultant

 

For many years, Pastor Scott also served as a church consultant helping churches with growth programs and building projects.  He is an expert on church facilities equipment and would be pleased to meet to discuss your needs.  He does not sell anything, only provides consulting services. He also is a contributor to The Complete Church Guide to Saving Money book.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you available on short notice?

Sometimes yes, depending on previous bookings.  If I am not booked, I can often come preach if your pastor is out sick or on vacation (or has recently left.)

What is the fee for pulpit-supply or other services?

While there is no set fee for services, please consider the many hours invested in preparing to bring a message to the church, as well as the travel time.  Pastors, like doctors, invest many years in study and education to be prepared to help.  Your kindness and generosity is appreciated.

By God's leading, though I am retired, I want to be available to serve churches as I have done all my life.

Pastor Scott  is based in Clarksville, Virginia, along the NC border.  It is about one hour north of Raleigh NC, one hour east of Danville VA, and 30 minutes west of South Hill, VA (I-85).  The circle shows the approximate areas I can travel for a Sunday meeting.
